22-storey mixed-use development comprising commercial premises within a 3-storey podium, a 19-storey residential tower above with 188 apartments (140 market and 48 affordable housing apartments) and seven basement levels.
The Independent Planning Commission Panel appointed to determine the State Significant Development application for the proposed Five Ways Crows Nest mixed use development including in fill affordable housing (SSD-66826207) advises that the public meeting scheduled for Thursday 12 December 2024 at 135 King St, Sydney, 2000 will not go ahead due to a low number of speaker registrations, with only one member of the public registering to speak.
The Commission will contact those who expressed interest in the public meeting to make alternative arrangements to allow them to have their say on the proposed development. In accordance with the Commission’s Transparency Policy, the Commission will publish transcripts of any meetings with members of the public and other stakeholders that occur as part of these alternative arrangements. Those who registered to attend the public meeting as observers are advised that the meeting is no longer going ahead.
The Commission is also seeking written submissions on the Five Ways Crows Nest mixed use development including in fill affordable housing. If you would like to make a submission, you can do so via our online portal.
Written submissions will be accepted until 5pm AEDT on Thursday 19 December 2024.
