Hills of Gold Wind Farm approved with strict conditions
The NSW Independent Planning Commission has today approved a new 372 megawatt (MW) wind farm, located approximately 60 kilometres (km) southeast of Tamworth, near Nundle, Hanging Rock and Crawney, within the local government areas of Tamworth Regional, Upper Hunter Shire and Liverpool Plains Shire.

Sancrox Quarry Expansion Public Meeting Notification
The community will be able to have their say in a public meeting on a proposal by Sancrox Quarry Expansion Project, owned by Hanson Construction Materials Pty Ltd (Hanson) to extend the life of the quarry by expanding the current extraction boundary and increasing the annual extraction limits. The proposal also involves the construction of a concrete recycling and batching facility and an asphalt production plant.
