Public meeting notification

The State significant development application for the Jupiter Wind Farm Project was formally withdrawn by the applicant EPYC Pty Ltd by letter dated 15 March 2018.

The Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) referred the Jupiter Wind Farm project to the Independent Planning Commission (IPC) for determination on 23 February 2018.

As part of its independent decision-making process, a three-member panel of the Commission was due to visit the proposed site next Tuesday before hearing from affected residents and other interested stakeholders at a public meeting in Bungendore on Wednesday.

The site tour previously scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 20 March 2018 and the public meeting previously scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 21 March 2018 will no longer proceed as planned.

The late timing of the applicant’s withdrawal is regrettable, and beyond the Commission’s control. The Commission apologises for any inconvenience and appreciates your interest in the matter.

If you require any further information contact David Mooney, Team Leader Secretariat on 9383 2109.
