Mt Thorley Continuation Project - determination

It is not necessary for every person and/or group who has already commented to speak at the meetings. The Commission will consider all submissions and comments that have been received in relation to these projects. If you are not able to attend the meetings, please submit any final written comments (if you have not already done so) to the email address below. The Commission will not accept individuals speaking on another individual’s behalf.

Please be aware that all individual speakers will be limited to 5 minutes in total to speak about both projects. All community groups will be limited to 15 minutes in total. This limit has been set because the projects have already been through detailed assessment processes (including Public Hearings) as part of the Commission’s Reviews in 2014.

Given many of the views and issues raised are common to multiple submissions, the Commission requests that stakeholders organise their presentations so common views can be presented by a spokesperson. All speakers are encouraged to focus their presentations on the Department and Proponent’s response to the Commission’s Review reports (that is, the current application).

The meetings will be open to the public to observe the proceedings.

The meetings will continue on Wednesday 1 July 2015 at 8.00am.

Any updates about the meeting will be published on this webpage and a draft schedule will be emailed to registered speakers before the meeting.
