The Planning Assessment Commission meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 16 July 2014 at 3pm to hear public views on the Department of Planning and Environment’s (the Department) assessment and recommendation of the Trinity Point marina modification application is cancelled.
The Commission was advised this morning that the Proponent has submitted to the Department a revised marina layout to meet certain performance criteria, as required under condition B1 of the concept approval. The Department has now approved the revised layout, which differs from the layout in the modification application currently before the Commission for determination.
Although the current application relates only to the staging of the marina, the Commission does not consider it appropriate to determine the current application without further advice from the Department on potential implications that may arise from the revised layout and the need to consult the community. Therefore, the Commission has decided to return the file to the Department for review and further action, where required.
Further notice will be posted on the PAC website, when available.
